Mist Control begins with a study of the process to establish the type and amount of emission. Toxic and corrosive mists are produced by many industrial processes and the system design must address these characteristics.

First the mist should be collected by an exhaust hood that minimizes fugitive emissions. This objective can be accomplished by properly designing exhaust hoods with adequate capture velocity and total flowrate. Secondly, hazardous materials must be removed or neutralized. The type of scrubber or demister is selected according to the material being collected and the preferred method of handling the wastewater generated. Finally, a stack must be designed so that remaining emissions are properly dispersed and ground level concentrations are acceptable. Stack design considers heightand position; a compromise between effectiveness and cost.

We can provide complete EPCM services for mist control systems installations, but we are also proud of the fact that our designs have been successfully installed and commissioned by sophisticated clients without any assistance from us.
