Fume Control designed for hot processes must be based on a complete understanding of the process itself. Successful installations not only capture fume but provide long service life due to robust construction and careful considerations of production, safety and maintenance needs during design.

The first step of such a project is thorough testing to identify the priorities for control (source strength) and establish a baseline for future comparison. Video sampling is often used at this preliminary design stage, and is followed up with process measurements and calculations of required exhaust volume. Preliminary design then places the fume control system components in the appropriate position and decisions are made on the feasibility and cost of various options for construction, materials, cooling, off-gas treatment, etc. General arrangements and details of hood, ducting, and other components are prepared for mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation.

We can provide complete EPCM services for fume control systems installations, but we are also proud of the fact that our designs have been successfully installed and commissioned by sophisticated clients without any assistance from us.
